Alley Cats Contribute in KY
Ok, so Saturday was a bunch of firsts for me:
1) First time in a point-to-point alley cat race
2) First time visit to the Lexington Living Arts & Sciences Center
3) First time to stroll through a "Roots & Heritage Festival"
4) All while decked out in a Johnny Carson sportcoat, wool knickers, m frames, and sidis...needless to say we received a few interesting looks
BUT...the local alley cat scene hosted their largest ever event with the inaugural Bike Prom (89 racers) and managed to raise $500 for the Living Arts and Science Center. Pretty sweet!!!!! All by just wanting to go have some unusual fun on two wheels.
